My Grandma booked their cruise about 4 weeks ago and after I came home in the morning told me about it… I held back by the SKIN of my teeth from faceplanting when she told me she booked with a very… questionable Travel agent…Īfter hitting my head against a wall a few times and screaming into a pillow for like 20 minutes, I fired up my laptop and started to investigate WHAT she actually booked… and found out that I get the exact same cruise for half the price… including the flights… and a drinks package… and can match my IHG status… and can cancel what SHE booked and upgrade them from an inside to a Balcony cabin all in one go… AND don’t have to deal with that pesky travel agent that is making me go insane EVERY time I talk to them…thank the lord… I am on the mission to figure things out for them on board and thought: Why not let you in on it too?
No seriously… they go exactly four weeks after me, are warry about traveling abroad and don’t speak a single word of English, except of Hello. How did it start? Why did I book instead of just jumping of a bridge now that I find a minute to do so?:īecause my 81 and 77 year old Grandparents are celebrating their 59 th wedding anniversary in 4 weeks… and booked the exact same cruise… now they use me as guinea pig… NOT THAT I COMPLAIN!!! Thanks to that invisible enemy that is keeping the entire world in it’s chocking headlock I was cancelled on 3! Different cruises in the last 18 month and spend my vacations in lockdown… NOW I CAN FINALLY GO!!! I am a 31 year old, single lady from Berlin, Germany that loves to go on cruises… I am a Nightmanager in a fairly big Hotel and therefor… Well NEWSFLASH! YOU ARE IN THE FREAKING SMOKING AREA! 99% of the ship are SMOKEFREE! SMOKING is just allowed on ONE side of the ship! The entire INSIDE of the ship is SMOKEFREE! Why don’t you go and stay inside with YOUR DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR and attitude or use the FREAKING OTHER SIDE OF THE SHIP to walk back and forth, while I am out here minding my own business with a cigarette and a drink…
I ALWAYS go to where it’s allowed… STILL it happens to me EVERY SINGLE TIME that at least one NON smoker is walking past my table waving his hand in front of his face disgusted and letting go of a totally inappropriate comment like a mumbled ‘disgusting, those smokers…’ I am an addict! I confess to that! I keep to the rules and DON’T smoke on cruise ship balconies! I do NOT smoke in outside areas where it’s not allowed on ships. Space for bad weather… of ANY sort… seriously… this is my first freaking flabbergasted Vacation in 18 MONTH!!!!Īnd Chocolate Merle colored Chihuahuas with the name Cooper… (because everyone can do pink fluffy unicorns!!!!)Īnd as a fair WARNING upfront!!!! I AM A SMOKER! I WILL HANG AROUND IN SMOKING AREAS! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLAM WITH THAT, PLEASE!!!! FIND A DIFFERENT REVIEW TO READ!!!! I can’t life with the hate against smokers anymore.
